Hi everyone,
Excited to join this community. I'm a photographer and a software engineer. I love taking pictures of old motels and other things from the past. Bringing together my two passions, I also write apps for photographers.
Looking forward for some great time here! | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Welcome Pavel. It's nice to see someone here from the Seattle area; I grew up in Kent. Quote:

I don't know if you've been to Spokane recently, but there used to be a motel on the west side, just off I-90 called the Starlite. Don't know if it's still there or not, but that might be a fun one to take pictures of. I threatened to take my wife there on our wedding night ("But honey, it's only $2.95 an hour AND for only an extra five bucks, they'll throw in the video from the camera behind the mirror!...")
Enjoy your time on the forum. It's a great place and there are a lot of nice folks here.

Love the story! I've never been to Spokane, but it's on my list. Perhaps you've been to Aurora Avenue North in Seattle -- it's like a museum of old motels. Try not to go there after dark with a camera though, just in case :) | | | |
