I wasn't sure if I'd ever be back. Lost my DSLR a couple of years ago, have been enduring the shame of a P&S since then.

My wife was pregnant, and I was whining about not having a "good" camera, and she said we should go get one.

I now have a Canon 60D! Yay! Got it with the 18-135mm IS lens, not as good as that nice Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 I had and sold after the 300D went away, but it's not bad.

We also just had a new baby boy on 12/21 and I'll be hitting the forums and maybe posting here and there. I need to get my skill level back up where it should be.

My first SLR was a Canon, nearly 30 years ago. I guess it's like being a Ford or Chevy guy, although I was always a Ford guy and now drive a Chevy Avalanche.

And go figure, I have 2 Minolta SLR's in my closet.
