sooooooo glad to find this site! Native Texan, presently residing in Cypress outside of Houston. Born and raised in San Antonio, also lived in Waco (Hewitt) and near Ft Worth (Azle) duirng my career. Engineer by profession. Shooting since early 90s. Favorite local spot is Mercer Botanical Gardens, and I duly note it appears to be a common favorite on the Houston subforum as well.....but then I also have many favorite trackside spots as well, but the scenery is decidely, well, harsher.... Hardware is a Canon 10d, and a 28-135IS is the main glass. A couple of introductory sample pics: |

Welcome kenw, very nice shots, I really like the first one of the engine. It is good to see someone who knows where azle is lol :) I think that you will really like this site, full of all kinds of friendly people and lots of good information |
