Hello all, I'm 26 and live in Flower Mound, TX. I just recently got into photography. I'm an M&A Analyst by day but am trying to learn as much as possibly about photography at night. I recently purchased a Canon Rebel XT to test the waters and see what i can do. I'm in the market for my second lens (hopefully the Canon 17-40L). My interests are in sports photography and architecture. I would ultimately like to do this as a side business once i'm comfortable with my skills. A friend of mine got into photography about a year ago and is already doing some great stuff. You can check his images out at www.ericryananderson.com. Look forward to learning a lot. If anyone ever needs an assistant for a shoot let me know. I would love the experience and the chance to learn. -Jeff |

Welcome to the forum, Jeff. That 17-40 is a good lens... though for sports you're going to wind up with a big collection of spendy telephoto primes.  |
