I didn't introduce myself when I first signed up on here, so here goes: I'm Laura, I'm from the north central side of SA, and I bought a Nikon D50 the first week of September, and bought it being absolutely clueless as to how to shoot in anything but AUTO mode (go ahead, laugh .. I know), but I'm slowly (and I stress slowly) coming around ... picked up a few helpful tips from a fellow photographer, who belongs to the same Mustang group (UnitedStangs) I belong to here in town, where most of my photos come from, but other than that, I am still far from proclaiming myself to be a photographer. Yes, I shoot some good shots here and there, but I see there are several people on this board for which photography is your bread and butter, and but right now, I'd be lucky to sell a SINGLE shot. LoL That brings me to this, don't mind me ... I'll just be lurking around, trying to pick up a few tips here and there. LoL Oh, I also have a Nikon N55 that I bought in mid-June, but again, only ever shot in AUTO mode on it, and I decided I wanted to see what I shot, as well as be able to do things with my photos right away, so 2 1/2 months later, I bought the current D50.
