I've actually been a member for a while, but just upgraded to a DSLR in July. I won't leave my day job of engineering since I'm pretty sure my photography skills are very lacking. I have done several portrait sessions and found that I need a lot more practice. I enjoy this forum due to the courteous and informative responses. I have been a member of another forum for a while longer, but have started to find that newbs are not really welcome. TPF seems to have members with a much more professional attitude and willingness to help. Thanks for providing a good Texas atmosphere. --------------------------- rmonty |
