Well I just want to say this is an awesome place to hang! My name is Ivan, I was born in Miami but was raised in San Antonio. I lived there 18 years... that's gotta count for something :) in 96' I moved up to Austin and really finally understood what life was all about. Nothing 8) so a couple years after that I decided to get married to woman of my dreams from my english class at SAC (san antonio college) and now we are nested firmly in the great northwest of the US, Seattle. Crazy to think we'd be so far from family, friends... but everything happens for a reason, I guess. The one thing I've noticed in my ventures, is that photography is such a big part of my life. It is my life! There is not one day that goes by that I don't have my camera with me. Any where I go... I have to have it. My biggest inspiration was Richard Avedon. And his death, in the city I grew up in, really knocks, real hard on my door, to look further, to make the difference... wow.
