Hi All: I'm a new member to this site. I've lurked here before but never signed up. I ran into Abel the other day while shooting a Rockets game (he was sporting the TPF Shirt haha) so I decided to come and sign-up. I'm a professional sports photographer here in the Houston area. I shoot mainly pro sports (NFL, NBA, MLS....). I work mainly for EFE International News Services which is a sister company of the European Pressphoto Agency. I also do some freelance work for The Houston Chronicle and many other national/international publications. I'm always looking to meet and network with other photographers. Young/Old, New/Experienced, Pro/Amateur....I just like meeting people and think you always have something you can learn from someone else. I think I'm going to like it here! |

Doh! I just reread your post, thought about it for a bit, and realized who it was from.  I'm sure you're going to like it here. I do believe I told you about the site some time ago. Glad Abel finally got you over here.  Will you be at the Interliga games? I just had another surgery earlier this week, and start more physical therapy next week. I should be good to go by January and hopefully will be getting around really well by then! --------------------------- Wendy |

Thanks all for the huge welcome! Wendy: I definitely want to go shoot the Interliga games; you can almost count me in for sure ;) I hope you're feeling better. I really feel for you having to go through another surgery, ouch. As always, feel free to let me know if you ever need anything. Or if we happen to be shooting the same event; I don't mind helping you carry your equipment or anything, I know its tough to move around. Abel: I'll see you tomorrow at the Rockets v Timberwolves game! (you wouldn't happen to have any "L" lenses I could borrow? ;) ) |

Hey there Eric... I wont be at tonights game unfortunately... I just have way too much stuff here at the office I need to take care of. I do plan to be there for the Cavs game this Saturday though. when does your Mark II and 70-200IS come in? Im sure youll love that setup. I so want to shoot a game with a 300 or 400 telephoto but theyre always booked up! ugh!
