Old Aggie in Longhorn territory - 12-01-2006, 01:46 PM

Hi Everyone,

I retired in May from teaching at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, and immediately moved to Georgetown -- love it here, although it does get a little burnt orange from time to time. I've dabbled in photography much of my life, always on a part-time basis. Shot weddings for a while in Corpus with Nikon film equipment, but got kinda burned out on dealing with mothers-of-the-bride, so I overreacted and sold all my gear. A year or so ago I got "the bug" again, and began accumulating Canon digital equipment, and I'm once again in love with photography. I'm shooting mostly sports, but open to most anything. I've been stringing for a semi-weekly newspaper here, and selling prints on printroom.com. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Howdy from Aggieland. I've lived here and served First Baptist Church for the last 12 years, so I'm pretty maroon by now. Welcome
