Hello, all. I am Shawn from Fort Worth, TX. I have only been shooting for a short while. Never picked up a film camera for anything more than some quick vacation snapshots, and that was usually a 110. Got my first somewhat serious digital back in February of '04 after watching my wife have a ball with her little 1.3MP. It was a Sony DSC-F828. I recently gave that to my father-in-law for grandkid shots and purchased a Nikon D70, and I can't wait to give it a work-out. (Got a trip to the Upper Peninsula planned for later this year.) I am involved in a local photo club (http://trinityartsphotoclub.org) with some very talented folks including this group's own moderator, Brad. I have taken a few shots with which I am particularly happy. Some of them I am trying to sell online at CafePress.com (http://CafePress.com/BlueHeronTrail). I'm still considering where to start an online gallery when I have a few more under my belt. As a new member myself, just wanted to say welcome! I was at Ft. Worth Sunday checking out the Kimbell Museum. Nice building and would be a good spot for some great shots!
