Hi Everyone!
I'm by no means a professional photographer... YET!....but I do have a strong passion for it that gets stronger as I get older and experience more in life! I'm the annoying family member at every holiday gathering that is snapping away trying to capture as much of the moment as possible... because before you know it... it is gone... and all you have are the memories... and once your memory is gone... well... all you have are the pictures!

Anywho! I currently live in Shreveport with my husband Michael. I'm a Medical Technologist and Michael will graduate from Med School in May. We got married April 21st and will move to Temple, Texas in May for his residency. TALK ABOUT MAJOR STRESS!

Markeric (Master Photographer of the World!) from Alexandria, LA shot me and Michael's engagement session and my bridals. You'll have to check out our slideshow www.markeric.com/lm

I just got my Rebel XTi for Christmas thanks to my wonderful husband! (*He REALLY LOVES ME!) I've been doing lots of reading and experimenting but haven't had the time to dive in all the way... what with the wedding and all!

Once I move to Temple in Mid-May, I would love the opportunity to work with someone that wouldn't mind me tagging along and maybe learning a thing or two. I've been shooting families, kids, and newlyweds... and would love to graduate to weddings once I gain the experience and better equipment! If anybody is interested please drop me an email! Anybody within a 2 hour radius of Temple would be awesome!

I look forward to chatting with ya'll! Maybe you can help coach me a little like the FANTASTIC MARK ERIC..... and teach me a little about being a Texan as well!!!

You're too funny. We're gonna miss you here in LA. I'll be in Austin around Mid May- we need to hook up for a TTD session ;). You are welcome to come along to help with that wedding if you're free- let me know. We'll be getting together with some other Austin Photographers on the 20th for a casual brunch, would love to see you there!

Mike Fulton from Tricoast told me this was an awesome forum for Texas photographers, so I hope you make some friends. Looks like a great group of people to share with.
