Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. Some of you already know me from the forum I run, and thanks to them, I decided to come over here and say hello. I'm from Los Angeles, but just purchased a house near Dallas and will be relocating there at the end of this month. Major change for me, don't know many people there and I'm really not to sure what to expect. Needed to get out of CA though and from the time I've spent there, it seemed like a great place. Looking forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully will find a few to go out shooting with sometime! Chase |

Welcome future neighbor from a former Californian. Although I do miss NorCal and SoCal, I do not miss - income taxes - high car insurance taxes - high cost of just about ANYTHING The people here are friendlier and the traffic although bad, can't possibly compare to any traffic encountered in NorCal OR SoCal. Welcome to the Forum Chase, and welcome to Texas (well, your almost a Texan anyway). You mentioned that you run your own forum, which Im sure keeps you plenty busy, but I hope you have some time to spend in here as well. There are some Wonderful photographers in the Dallas / Ft Worth Area. |

Welcome to TX! I moved here from Los Gatos (Silicon Valley) last April. Went from 1600 square feet to over 4000 for 1/2 the price! Great people here in Dallas, in fact TX as a whole.
