Be Gentle..newbie on board! - 10-21-2007, 05:15 PM

Contrary to alot of introductions I've been reading in this forum, I've been shooting for less than a year. That qualifies me as a newbie for sure? I'm still experimenting, reading, learning, and tripping over myself most of the time. My wife pushed me over the abyss last Christmas with a Nikon D80 and I've been hooked ever since. Spending most of my time on my kids sports - football, gymnastics and competitive dance - I've seemed to pick the worst lighting, with the worst angles, and the most movement possible. In other words, I'm loving it. More posts to follow I hope....and thanks for your patience.

My first camera was still PB. Pre Battery! Anyhow, Welcome from Frisco. And you'll find a wide range of friendly folk 'round here.

There's lots to do and ways to contribute regardless of your newbie, noob, or whatever status. Using the Search at the top right (under the sponsor box), try "Endless", "Cookin", or "Peep" for some light-hearted examples. Make yourself at home!
