An amateur amateur, but looking to improve! New Braunfels - 01-10-2008, 08:48 PM

Hi Everyone!

My name is Stacy and I live in beautiful New Braunfels where there are plenty 'o photographic opportunities!

I've been interested in photography since I can remember (you know the story - wasting an entire roll of film on my pet dog, etc....), but have never taken the steps to really learn the technical aspects of it, so I'm kind of hit or miss! But, oh, what beautiful hits and what inspiring misses I have had :-)

I love digital photography and owned the first Digital Rebel that came out on the market (which was stolen at a wedding in Oct!!!), but it afforded me the opportunity to upgrade.

I play with a Canon 20D now and have a Tamron 28-75mm lens and a Canon 50mm lens for it.

My goal here is to improve my skills, learn as much as I can and have some fun in the process.
