Very pretty. Are you going to post the pictures for Los Maples? How do they look?
Thanks. | | | |

I love the subtle colors and composition of the first one.

Great shots!
From the last foliage report at Lost Maples, it sounds like they aren't at their peak colors yet. What did you think? I'm planning trip out there early next week, assuming it's "ready" by then.

Just for your information. I went to Lost Maples yersterday since I was off for Veterans Day and I thought the colors were very nice. I beleive I was told that the colors were going to peak by next week. When a good wind would blow by, the leaves starting falling but that will take a while yet. However I was not dissappointed with the colors from yesterday at all. I dont have any pics to post at this time, but if you have a chance to get there you may want to go. Also on the way, the sabinal creek crossings had some nice colors as well. I didnt really see any red oaks changing yet, but again the trip out to Lost Maples well be worth your while.
I would like to know what anyone else thinks of the park if you go this weekend.
I did see a few people with some serious equipment but most were point and shoot shooters.
The colors at Garner seem to be real nice too. We dont have fall colors like the eastern part of the country, but the colors at the parks right now are not bad at all.

Sorry I had not had an opportunity to reply earlier, but work has kept me busy and I have finally had a chance to work several of the images from Lost Maples. I agree that some of the color is yet to get to full bloom as some of my photos might show (some of the trees still have green and yellow leaves that need to reach full color). I am sure that those of you planning to visit next week are sure to see a beautiful show. Thanks for your remarks and I hope you enjoy these images.

Nice shots, I especially like the first one from Garner. Glad to see the color has improved from when I was there a few weeks ago.

Very nice shots Ricardo. I am very curious to see if you used a polarizer out there. Wish I could get back out there. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
