Texas A&M University at morning - 11-21-2009, 07:04 PM

Pictures were taken during last month on campus of Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Several pictures at the beginning were taken earlier.
Many places that look boring or ugly at daylight are more attractive at twilight hours, especially after making them more showy by Photoshop
enhancements.

In fog, it looks like a gigantic alien spaceship

Portals of the memorial look like a scene from "alien invasion"

Some great shots. Way to take advantage of the fog. Love the first victory eagle fountain pic. The first 2 of the Aggie Ring both look tilted to the right.

You will get a lot of nice comments about these shots, Alexey...especially from the Aggies. Nice stuff. You were busy.

"Portals are covered by patriotic, ultra-conservative and right-wing Christian inscriptions"

???

These words were chosen by the families and friends of the students killed in the bonfire collapse.

and in a nit pic, most of the pics are noticeably leaning to the right. seriously and no pun intended.

Technically the images are very well processed.

Very nice shots but your comments about the inscriptions are way out of line and down right insulting to the familys and to those lost during that tragic event.

Excellent series. All are good but several are truly great. Nice exposures and post processing to capture/create the range of light.
Thanks for posting. Mike

I'd like to see some of the lights cloned out. They are distracting

Also, I can see your shadow in the first Bonfire memorial picture

Thank you for all comments. Some corrections may be done later. I took more similar pictures recently. Tilted horizon is difficult to avoid because it is not visible at night.

Great pics. I really like the composition of the engravings. What time of day were these taken?
