Milind, following this series of pictures, it looks like you had a great spring break!

I am looking at this on my work laptop (not calibrated, not in good light, etc. - - caveat emptor) so it might appear different this evening under other circumstances... I like the top one better than the second, and for 2 reasons: (1) I like, in this case, the top aspect ratio better - - I like being able to see the "depth" of the geographic features and I think that comes across better on the taller format. (2) I like the exposure a little better on the top one... as the sun sets and the shadows got deeper, it seems that it becomes too dark - - but that is where my laptop screen may be playing tricks on me.

But I really like them both and I'm glad that you had a chance to see such great places... Thanks for sharing them.

I welcome comments on any picture I post... Thanks.

Thanks, Debbi.

Westley, appreciate your detailed comments as always. Agree with them. What I liked about the experience was that there was a literal progression of the highlights as the sun went down.

Here's another the next morning during the sunrise. Couldn't get rid of the flare, though.

Thanks, Keith and Tracie.

Tracie, you have a great trip ahead of you. By the time you go, the snow may have melted and some of the pathways (walks around the rim) connecting different vantage points at Bryce will be open for you to explore and get the best shots. There are some pink sand dunes on the way from Kanab to Zion and Bryce. If you have the time, detour in there too.
