haha - I thought I copyrighted that title! That's a view I could gaze at for hours on end as well, though, so I'm happy to share.

Sorry about that Lisa, I thought you were starting a series and were a trendsetter!

This from just a few miles (relatively speaking) north of Anguilla. Hard to beat that area of the world.

Now, if we could only import a crystal clear sea with the prettiest beaches and place it about where Grand Prairie is, we'd be set. Of course, we'd have to buy all the future shore land first.

You know...I like the idea of this trend...wouldn't it be interesting to see what people wished their view was like on a daily basis?

So, how few miles north of Anguilla, relatively speaking, are we actually speaking of? I do think that it is hard to beat that gorgeous Bombay Sapphire gin-colored water and soft sugary sand beaches. If you can figure out the plan to import that to the DFW area, I'll see what I can find in terms of financing a few choice acres.

Ah, yes, thought it might be. We seriously considered going to BVI this year instead of Anguilla, but places we were interested in booking were unavailable on the dates we asked about. I've been to the USVI before (St. John and St. Thomas - far prefer St. John), but not the BVI's. We will get there one year. Where did you stay? I'm always interested in recommendations.

We stayed at the Bitter End Yacht Club. We've been there before. The kids (and I) like all of the water toys.

While there I learned that their occupancy in 2009 was down to an average of 20% per week, and this year it's up to about 40%. When we were there in 2007 it was at about 90%. Sign of the times, I guess.

We looked at BEYC, but we were also looking to see if we could rent a private villa and any that were even in the ballpark price-wise were unavailable. I have friends who honeymooned at BEYC and loved it.

But you could take me and 17 of your other best friends for that price.

Just sayin!

There's certainly room there for that many. Too bad we can't stay longer than a night or two......okay, maybe 3. Everybody's got to have a dream, no?

I wonder if they will allow you to reserve just one plank on the dock.

Lovely image, Digi. Is there some HDR in it?
