Carlos,

The lens used was the newest Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8. I also used a Singh-Ray LB Warming Polarizing filter. The polarizer cuts down any reflections from non-metallic surfaces and reduces haze as well.

Since this photo is an HDR image, 5-shots were combined using an application called Dynamic Photo HDR which is made by a company named Media Chance. This software is amazing and creates that "clarity" look that you asked about.

Other than that, I applied selective sharpening and contrast enhancement to the image as well as applying a Fuji Provia 100 filter using Imagenomic's Real Grain Plug-in for Photoshop. That adds more contrast and a color boost to simulate that film.

That's all. Sounds like a lot but it's really not that much.

Wil - which Nikon you shooting these with? The first one is so clear and nice - can you share a bit about the post processing involved?

Thanks!

Regards,

-Josh

Never mind - saw the post that says it was taken with a G9? cool. Also that it is HDR. I like the processing - not too obvious or overdone - great work!

Josh,

The image above was taken with either the D700 or the D3S. I think it's the D700. It was most likely a 5-shot RAW bracket that was combined using Dynamic Photo HDR and the "tweaked" using LR and PS5.
