The lens used was the newest
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8. I also used a
Singh-Ray LB Warming Polarizing filter. The polarizer cuts down any reflections from non-metallic surfaces and reduces haze as well.
Since this photo is an HDR image, 5-shots were combined using an application called
Dynamic Photo HDR which is made by a company named Media Chance. This software is amazing and creates that "clarity" look that you asked about.
Other than that, I applied selective sharpening and contrast enhancement to the image as well as applying a Fuji Provia 100 filter using
Imagenomic's Real Grain Plug-in for Photoshop. That adds more contrast and a color boost to simulate that film.
That's all. Sounds like a lot but it's really not that much.
