I wonder if the IS's filled with helium would have worked?

So what are IM's and IC's?

I am a little undecided on this one.

A little too much sky up top, but otherwise I like it a lot. Those trees make great subjects. I like that you've got several of them, here. That bit of rock on the right edge of the frame has me wondering what a pano from this spot would have looked like.

A pano from there was a maybe. There was a good grouping of rocks that way. The other shot was over there.

But the road was about 100yrds to the right and ran toward those rocks.

Kevin, I don't know what those are but they are WAY cool! Compositionally, I like the 3rd one best but they are all really neat! I also really like the depth in the first one... the way they extend back to the mountain in the background.

We came around a corner and there were hundreds of acres full of these.

They are Cholla Cactus. Some people call them Jumping Cholla.

If you wander around in them, its not long before some of those little balls on the ground attach themselves to your pants.

The last one shows the skeleton on one that is dead.
