I've never been there but would love to go.
Anybody have directions to areas to shoot?

If anyone is going to go...you should go this weekend or nxt. Colors are in and next week should be at peak. then after that it will look dull and dead until spring.

Caddo lake State park is a good place to start if you have never been. I plan on getting a boat and go exploring other areas.

Have a shoot Saturday so I can't make it then.
But, I'm up for a trip out there Sunday morning if anybody would like to head out then let me know. I'll be leaving early to get there before sunrise.

The most colorful I've ever seen from Caddo. Beautiful compositions as well. Numbers 3 and 6 are killer!

Nice series, Keith. I especially like the atmosphere in 3 and 5. The lighting on 6 is also great, with the egret in the shadows being a nice little bonus.
