I like all the layers in this image: from the silhouetted foreground to the progressively lighter mountains, also the different bands/layers of color in the sky. I do think cropping up a bit from the bottom to remove some of the featureless black area would make a stronger composition, with the longer aspect ratio further emphasizing all the horizontal layers in the image.
