Alabama Hills - Twilight and, dusk and sunrise - 12-03-2010, 08:34 AM

More images from my week long solo trip over Thanksgiving week.
Got pretty cold here with the storms that were around. Down to 10 degrees. And I got to crawl out of my sleeping bag at 5 am to start shooting.
These are just from the Alabama Hills area.

Wow, wonderful work. A trip well spent over the holiday. Any of these would make gorgeous large prints. My only nit is the horizon on the second shot, the first one is my favorite.

Very nice work! My son lives in Lone Pine and doesn't have the least bit of interest in photography and I still can't understand why...it's a wonder place for landscapes!
