In California for work - Couple of pics of the Golden Gate Bridge - 03-02-2011, 12:58 AM

I'm in Northern California for a week for work and I brought my D300 and just a single lens - my 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5. I have been driving into San Francisco in the evenings to look around and here are a couple of shots I made of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I don't do a lot of landscape photography, usually portraits. But I wanted to share these because I thought they turned out pretty nice.

Ahhhh... Home.

Nice work. I like the second shot with the chain in the foreground. I think I've stood in that exact spot before.

Thanks for sharing.

They all look great, but open them in PS or LR and straighten them up...

I like #2 in 1st post. Good to see a different angle with something else in the shot with the bridge.

I'm with the group, #2 is my favorite. Great shot from an view not shown very often. I can't get enough of shooting in SF.

i like the night shots best. they have the best sharpness. the day shots seem a bit over exposed, especially the water. did like the shot with the chain though, good use of foreground elements.

My favorite is the third one. I find the chain too distracting in the second one, and it seems bigger than the bridge itself so I'm left wondering if you were taking a picture of the chain or the bridge? Just my personal opinion.
