back yard garden (attempt at pano) - 05-01-2011, 11:57 AM

Critique: CC:

Princess wanted a picture record of this years garden to show the layout of the plants and watering system (we used a long soaker hose) I figured I would practice with Canons Photo stitch. This is the results showing about 2/3rds of our back yard.

I think I could shoot my yard with my 50mm. ;)

Looking good!

great start on a garden :). For the CC: I would saw just level the horizon other than that the stitching looks good. One thing I was told was try shooting it in Portrait orientation. Although it will take more images that need to be stitched you will have a taller image.

Two shots at 18mm

I'll have to try portrait next time. This was hand held standing on a stool. Taller image would be good. Thanks for the comments.
