Looks like my action for preparing for web posting hit the sharpening a bit too hard on this one. An attempt at using Nikon Capture to defish.

GORGEOUS, love the fisheye's flat depth of field, i'm partial to that look---like a tilt shift lens would give you. beautiful! did you have a slower shutterspeed to get all that color?

Thanks!

Actually I had to keep the shutter speed higher than I would have liked. I needed to keep the overall exposure pretty low to retain detail in the clouds, but the wind was blowing enough that I had to keep the shutter speed somewhat fast to stop the clouds. I ended up with f/5.6 at 1/180s (ISO 100). I'd actually like to have used f/8 or f/11. I could have bumped the ISO up some, but I knew there were going to be a lot of underexposed areas anyway, and increasing the ISO would have increased the noise.
