For Christmas my daughter gave us a paid tour this coming July with Dirt Cheap Photo Tours. The photo guide's name is Jeff Clow.....hmmmm, heard that name somewhere before. Never have done anything like this and we are so looking forward to this experience. I will have to contact that Jeff Clow guy soon because I have many questions. Just received his book in the mail today. I can't believe I am actually nervous or is it excitement.

What a fantastic gift! Congrats! Glad you can make the trip. I'm looking forward to meeting you David.

Just post your questions in this thread and Jeff (or I) will answer them directly.

Thanks Mike,

Two exposure blend on it.
One for the sky and mountains, then one to bring in the forground a little bit.

I'll play but I have nothing to compare to what I've seen here.

Here are my meager attempts. I had been shooting a DSLR for about 4 months when these were taken (in late May, 2008). In fact, the camera was one of the motivators for the trip!

I'm ready to go back.

All three are amazing, but I really love that first one. Just really an amazing capture with perfect processing.
