Love #1, the reflection off the rail is awesome! Did you have to polish it up for that? I would think it would be rusty, and or dirty.

well used rail looks shiny and in fact is the best way to determine if tracks are still active. Which in this case they are extremely active.

Like Ken said. The rails I shot in NH hadn't been used in a very long time and only had a mild shine because they were wet.

Thanks everyone for the comments. These tracks get very heavily used. Have to always be listening for the rumble of the train when you're out on the middle of the bridge....Me and my dad used to shoot BB guns out there when I was a kid and we had a lot of close calls where we had to run off the bridge in a hurry....I have a few more I'll post when I get home...Thanks again for all the kind words!!

Overall I really like these, especially the first one.

Although, these do not appear to be heavily processed HDRs, the halos on the first one are kind of distracting to me.
