Pennybacker Bridge - 08-15-2011, 08:11 AM

Critique: NC:

Well, after trying to find a image I took back in March, and seeing I didn't have the images anywhere, decided to retake the shots (which this is not one of them). Then, I decided. I need a new vantage point for the bridge. I don't think I've seen many or any shots yet from this vantage point. 12 shot or so HDR converted to B&W..

Care to share your location?

Although, I am guessing you shot this on Saturday, while we had some cloud cover.......

This was on Sunday between 6:30pm and 7:00pm. Nice little storm looked like it was building up.

Parking garage location: Bridge Point Parkway, Austin, TX - Google Maps

I've been wanting to Geotag some of my pictures. I guess I should start doing that.

Also have a pano from that parking garage.

20 shots. It's something like 11512x1400 or something insane..

LOVE your pano shot. What stiching software did you use?

Thanks. I'm using Hugin - Panorama photo stitcher. Though it is a resource hog. Spikes my 3 core at 100%, but only uses around a 1g of ram.

I have not framed a picture in a while, but I think I'm sending this one off to MPIX tonight for just that reason.
