Anacortes Beach (WA state)

While waiting for the sun to set, I discovered this view off to the side and as so often happens, the planned sunset shots took a back seat. Unfortunately I couldn't get this view into the sunset itself. Haze and a low fog in the distance softened the contrast but left the foreground tree relatively distinct. A green filter and some other minor tweaks got me this.....

Quite a peaceful scene, like the crop using the tree to draw the eye.
