Critique: NC:

went on a little drive out to where one of the wildfires burnt about week ago. it was the pedernales/spicewood fire that burnt 6500 acres and destroyed 60+ houses. Its about 15 miles from my house in austin. I shot in both infrared and regular

This is the pedernales river.. right now its dried up. You can see the docks in the dry riverbed. You can also see where the fire burnt into what is normally the riverbed.

next is looking into what is/was a heavily wooded piece of land

and old oak now burnt

Depressing to see, but the IR photos are beautiful.

i tried false color (blue skies) and black and white but i think this has more of a dramatic impact.

That's what the Pedernales looks like? Dry as a bone? The fire was one thing to hear about, but to see that river dried up like that, both are very depressing.

Since there is vegetation growing in the riverbed, do you have deed restrictions that require you to keep in mowed and neat?

Ok, so this question sounds dumb, but near me there is a similar situation and people are asking the home owners association if they have to mow the lake and trim the river.
