Aiming for the moon with a tower: Fail - 09-16-2011, 11:24 AM

Critique: CC:

I saw an opportunity last night so took off to the galleria area, but the clouds weren't being very cooperative:

The first photo isn't exactly the best, but I was surprised that I got a bit of the moon AND Jupiter. I tried retaking this shot with the building straightened, but after 30 minutes, nada.

The other two is after I tried to straighten the building, but it just didn't seem right to me.

These have no processing and were taken at 2.8 with ISO 100 with an exposure of around 1 or 2 seconds.

As usual, I'm very interested in knowing what might I might improve on.

In post, you can increase the canvas size and use content aware fill to add more sky to the image then do perspective adjustments on the leaning building.
