Talking Brittany, Normandy & The Loire - 09-25-2011, 10:00 AM

Critique: CC:

I spent July photographing in France (Normandy, Brittany & the Loire valley), using my Linhof Techno with the Phase One P65+; lens were the Rodenstock 28mm, Schneider 47, 90 & 180. Here some images from the trip:

More here and here.

All shots taken at around f11/f16, on a Gitzo GT3541XLS tripod + Cube; I used rise/fall almost for every image, and a little tilt here and there, shot custom LCC for each images, processed them in C1 and then Photoshop (using PS's Photomerge when needed).

Very nice series. Love the reflections you captured. I think the B&Ws are my favorites.

Impressive set. Really great work.

The B&W's are my favorites as well, especially the one of Le Mont Saint Michel.

Wow, those are fabulous! How did you get them all with NO people in them?

Thank you very much everyone for the very nice words, I am glad you enjoyed the show :) Charrie, about the people (or lack thereof): well, in some picture actually there is someone (Mt. St. Michel, obviously, and Azay le Rideau), for the others I had to wait for the right instant when I could get no people and good light - the latter being actually more difficult than the former, we had pretty bad weather generally...

Vieri, superb work.
I was there last year and it was a fantastic trip.

Did you visit the Normandy Beaches and the cemetery where our US troops are buried?
Also, did you visit the house of Claude Monet?
