Nice set.
There have been some dramatically cool images come out of the recent fires.

I couldn't make myself shoot anything when I was there. I checked your stuff out because you use the f word and the H word. Nice work with such a depressing subject.

i didn't shoot much in the neighborhoods out of respect to the home owners. the house shots i did get were done only because there was nobody around. i mainly wanted to shoot the trees.

the "f" word & the "h" word?

Film and Hasselblad. Two things I don't use enough

Just for the record, I don't begrudge anyone getting a shot of a disaster. I just get too depressed and don't feel like shooting after a while. But I think that it needs to be done. I shot the aftermath of Katrina 250 days after it hit and it wore me out but I'm glad that I have the shots.

these were the first rolls of film from my new (new to me) Hasselblad. i am an avid film shooter. i don't even own a digital camera. the other camera i shoot with is a canon f-1n with a 55mm 1.2 FD lens.

I used to have an F1. I traded it for a 1 and later bought a 1N to go with it. The AF on those two cameras, in their time, was killer. Sometimes I wish that I had kept the F1 but I have a lot of glass that fits the 1N but not the 1. The 1N is loaded but so far I've only shot 1/2 a roll in the last 3 months and a few thousand digital frames. I've got a CM, but I don't shoot it much either.
