That is going to be a big pano, Saundra. I like the clouds and the big/open vista.

Looks like a beautiful place, but I'm having a hard time landing my eye on anything interesting in the picture. It needs something in the foreground to ground it.

Thanks John

Charrie part of the point of a vista view like this is to let your eyes wander the scene and take it all in.

I think the inherent interest in the panoramic view might be more apparent in a larger image - - I'd like to see it in person in a much larger size!

I did a consulting project years ago in Shakopee, MN - - I haven't thought about it in quite some time. It was winter and very cold! But it was a good project and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the image and for triggering the memory.

wclavey - that's probably true - not sure why it is so small here as the other forums I use had it show much larger with the same settings. Planning on printing and hanging this one in my home.

Yes we do get cold. What was the project?

your welcome.

I was the project manager for a re-design of Kmart's distribution network and some of their warehouse operations, back in the late 1980s. They had a distribution center in or near Shakopee and we stayed right there. We tested a lot of our operating strategies out at that DC.

Cool. That was a while back - now most of the Kmarts have all but disappeared around here.
