While in Vegas, my wife and I took a tour to the Park. It is fantastic. I will need to return for more serious photos.

Nicely done. I really like the processing on that first shot. Very clear with great shutter speed for the water.

Best drive in the USA is through Zion to and through Bryce Canyon to Escalante, Utah. From there to Hanksville passing through the southern section of Capitol Reef. After that there is a neat section approaching then passing Lake Powell. Continuing to the Utah 261 Moki Dugway highway, an 1,100 foot descent in three miles, then flat road to Mexican Hat and continue into Monument Valley.

If in Vegas a side trip to the state park Valley of Fire is worth the side trip.

I was a passenger this past late September as my daughter did the driving. My first trip to Zion and Bryce the predominate foreign language was German.

Zion is truly a beautiful place. I almost moved to St. George years ago.... to be honest, I still think about it.

Nice shots Tri. I prefer the first to the second. The harsh light during the day is most difficult to deal with.

Certainly, to do this trip justice, the minimum time would be 6 months. You can't go wrong.

Coyote Butte North/Vermillion cliffs is typically the draw of Germans to the area.
