Very nice shot. What was wrong with the time-lapse?

Thanks Jake!

I tried using aperture priority to catch the sunset, then moonrise an hour later. Unfortunately the hour between sunset and moonrise wasn't metered properly and is too dark. That along with a host of other snafu's created by me, I may be able to get something useful out of it but not without a lot of post.

Good news is I got new data to work with looks like I'll be back to working on my gphoto2 bramping intervalometer script this week :)

I Just found this gem:

I'll go ahead and list the things I did wrong so maybe they will help someone wanting to shoot timelapse.

1. Don't leave the camera on Auto White Balance. (I knew better)
2. Set it and leave it alone. I kept jacking with the exposure value and consequently have a lot of flicker in my video.

Additionally I was trying to view my shots during the interval and managed (while scrolling through) to turn the exposure value to -4, so the last part of my sequence was all black.

Love the 2nd shot!
#1 can be fixed if you shot RAW.
#2 been there, done that...
Good luck on the bramping intervalometer, that will help a lot.
