You seem to have a dust spot. Other than that, nicely done. I really like the fog shrouded lighthouse.

Nice shots. We were up there in July--beautiful area. Have you considered submitting some of these to the "Friends of Yaquina" photo contest?

You can google "Friends of Yaquina" to get into their website. Here is the link to their contest page. The 2011 contest link gives the info about the one that just ended in September.

They do one every year. This year the entry deadline closed September 6. I know this because I went in there soon after that to submit my entry...

Junho,

According to rule #3.

Quote:
3. Photo Quantity Limitations
Do not post more than 3 photos in a thread for critique. Choose your absolute best 3 shots of the series and post those. Posting more than 3 shots per thread will only hurt your chances of getting an honest critique since critiques do take time.
I have changed your post to "NC". You can change it back if you would like to reduce the image count to three.

Thank you.

I noticed the entry date has passed. I'll have to try next year. Thanks for the link Ken!

Yaquina Head - The lighthouse and seagull being aligned in the center of the frame makes the composition static. When shooting, a shift in position might have put some separation between them so they away from center frame and not on the same vertical plane (assuming the gull stayed put). Alternately a post capture crop from the top and right would at least move them a little bit away from center (remove that dust spot while you're at it ).

Newport Coastline - the blue sky in the upper part of the frame doesn't add to the image for me, but cropping down from the top this shot has good potential as a pano.
