Gorgeous sunset...love the colors...for me I think that you can create so many different effects with your processing...so I create what appeals to me...nice job on this one Mishele...btw where is this?

Thanks for the comment!! This was taken at Hanalei Bay on Kauai. Just an amazing island! I was there back in March and I'm just starting to play around w/ some of the shots I took. I'm sure I'll be posting more....lol

About the colors...because I know what it looked like before I messed w/ it, I always wonder if I went too far. I do tend to over do things....lol

I like it! I love the warm reds against all that cooler blue with the pinks and yellows from the sun as the accent. Nicely done!

Keep in mind that reality is over rated! I think it is more important to capture the feel of the scene than the actual colors, and I always feel that sunrises and sunsets need more saturation and need to be underexposed. Nice job on this image looking forward to seeing more from your trip!
