One of my favorite John Wayne movies "The Searchers" filmed in Utah. On my recent vacation I was able to capture the exact spot in the movie, although this one was supposed to be at night. There was an Indian village at the base of this cliff. Included also are a few of my other Monument Valley photos.    --------------------------- Bob |

The Searchers is my #1, all time, movie. I've seen it so many times that I've learned much of the script. Some trivia from that movie. Buddy Holly got the idea of his hit, "That'll be the day" from this movie. Oh, BTW, nice images. Really nice photos Bob...just wished that we still had a "John Wayne" to ride this country in some western movies...so tired of the current movies being released by the movie industry... Ron |
