Finally got to try out the ND filter - 11-07-2011, 09:26 AM

Critique: NC:

Using my new variable ND filter, I was able to take this snapshot at 11AM in full sunlight and manage to get a 13 second exposure.

Name: _DSC9760-Edit.jpg
Views: 205
Size: 210.6 KB

(just a note: the vignette is not from the filter, that was added in post)

Looking forward to playing around with this on my upcoming DC trip.

Nice. I always have an ND with me, even if I don't use it often. You just never know.

....reminds me, I still have @KenJulio's spare Vari-ND.

Which variable ND do you use? I have been trying out one from Link Delight and it seems to be pretty good so far.

The glint off the roofline just breaking the water's surface would add a touch of interest to it.

John, Looks like a good one. Dont see any color cast....unless you corrected it already.
I have a unadjustable 10 stop thats fun to play with, Been thinking of picking up a variable.
