I saw the smoke lingering in the air, and snow on the mountain range and thought it just might make a nice majestic view.

+1, Looks like a beautiful place to be. Nice shot. Only nit would be maybe a bit more forground and a touch off of the top of the sky. The barn on the left looks interesting.

Stargazer, I had thought about that when editing this for display. The farm rich land was tilled, and thought that it would take away from the total scene.

Very cool shot Jon. Was it taken in Montane, since I see that's where you reside? I recall some scenes like that when I visited my brother who was living in Superior. The drive between there and Missoula was beautiful, like your shot, as well. Nice composition and I love the colors. The barn makes it stand out in the shot.

Yes this was shot here, as this mountain range is just east of me a few miles. I haven't left the Flathead Valley for most of my shooting of photo's yet. Your brother has some fantastic areas to capture in and around Superior as well. Thanks for the compliment BTW, I try to present great photo's that all will enjoy.

When I head over to Hawai'i in March, I'm teaming up with a buddy of mine over there who is an awesome photographer.
