parrotmomma ~ I wish I had my digital temp reader out when I took these shots. I have cold weather gear on, but my face was very cold and my fingers sticking out of my fingerless tip wool gloves were numb when I got done. Currently looking for much better finger protection.

But yes, I tell everyone I live in Vacation Land USA here, as the outdoor nature photography is endless no matter what season your in.

As in Siberian cold. I've an old friend who lives in Townsand, Montana. A few years back he called and asked if we could just chat a while. Me, I said sure so we did several times.
Back story, it was minus forty degrees out not windchill. It was 2:00AM, He explained he had a pellet fueled furnace and he was staying awake throughout that nigh to manually crank the pellet feed auger if the power went out. Strange part is he was hard core New Orleans born and bred until moving to Montana.

NO! NO! Repeat after me: "It SUCKS where I live! The winters are horrible! When the snow finally leaves in late June, it rains until August. August 23rd and 24th are generally good, then it's back to rain until it turns to snow in September. Whatever you do, DO NOT move here!"

But just between you and me, you're making me pretty homesick... Nice shots.
