Returning at dusk - 12-26-2011, 08:15 PM

Critique: NC:

I had been here earlier in the day at about 1pm, but the light just wasn't right. So I returned at dusk, while the sun was setting in the west. Now these were taken just minutes apart, but you can see the difference in the light against the trees.

Both very nice. Like no.2 better because less brush in the foreground and the color of the trees.

Thank you, #2 is my favorite as well. After I took #1, I saw I could move to the left more and get the foreground cleared.

Jon,
Once again excellent images from you. #2 is definitely a wall hanger in my book, though both are nice. Please keep them coming.

Beautiful! You timed it just right; that light is gorgeous!
