But before waiting for the sun to set behind the mountains, I looked down and found the lighting from the sun on this grass giving different shades and colors, so I opted for a few shots close up.

Great shots. I really like the contrast in between the first two shots. I love the warm light hitting the grain in contrast to the blue sky in #2. Very nice. I can't help but imagine the breeze blowing in that first shot too. Great sense of the moment.
