Love the textures you captured, and the shadows created by the sun.

Pretty nice shots. A lot of potential patterns to shoot there.

I like these. Particularly number one. I really like the perspective the tree lends to the photograph

I agree with all of the above comments. Did you use a CP on these? The skies are very blue!

No, no filters. I can't remember if I bumped the saturation a bit in lightroom or not though. That could be the reason.

Excellent shots! I grew up in Monahans and spent a lot of time at the sand hills. Very well done.

The sandunes are a neat place to stop and let the kids run and play. A welcome break for them on road trips. Carry a couple gallons of water for their rinse off. Remember when leaving Monahans recreational dunes always visit Mister Ranger to leave their flying saucer and retrieve your drivers license. We left the saucer but Mr Postal service returned our license. Monihans is neat a couple of decades back it was our designated stop for the night place. One, very early, morning we checked out and in the parking lot was a huge pick-up truck with two attached largish trailers. They were filled with aged and weathered old horse drawn sleds, bent wood chairs and various other items associated with the pioneer days.
The sort of place you want your camera handy. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
