I went out to the Seawall tonight here is what a got :) CC is welcome an appreciated. Shot with a Sony A55 with the kit 18-55mm lens

Like the first one. Not sure of what is the subject of the last tho, also looks overexposed a bit..

+1 for the first one. Nice composition.

The second one really lacks in both compostion and subject. There isnt any place for the viewers eyes to rest. You just kind of wander around in the picture.

Thanks, I know the second one is not good I tried to do something and it didn't work :( but I will try something different next time. Hopefully it will turn out better :)

Thats how we learn. Evertime you are unsuccessful at something, you learn one more way not to do it, and that brings you closer and closer to the right way. ;-)

No 1 is the clear money shot, and if you'd just posted that one alone, we'd all think you were a master photographer.

What I've learned is to post my photographs -- the ones I really like AND the ones I wish were a little better -- on my PhotoBlog. For the last eight years, my goal on the PhotoBlog has been a photo-a-day, so I do not have to be as discriminating -- in fact, cannot be.

However, when it comes to posting on a forum, I try to post only my very best outcomes. Anywhoo, that's how I do it.
