Golden light of Santa Elena Canyon - 01-26-2012, 04:55 PM

Critique: CC:

We went to Big Bend National Park over Thanksgiving and I was at the right place at the right time of day. Taken at the far end of the canyon. CC always welcome and thanks for looking.

You're right! That's great timing!

I was there in early October for a workshop and we waited to see if we would get that moment, but it did not alight quite that way for us. There seems to have been more water at Thanksgiving than when we were there.

Thanks - We have been going for around 20 years down there and it seems the river just keeps going down.

Thank you, and yes we planned to go into the canyon. But, due to a flat tire it was shear luck for the time of day! :-) (my secret is out)
