I've enjoyed your other pictures from Montana. I think this one can be made more powerful by cropping a bit off the bottom, just below where the path in the foreground meets the left edge... This would change the aspect ratio to be closer to 2:1, but I think it makes a much stronger image and raises the effect of the snow - - creates more mystery about how much there is in the foreground.

I guess I should go with my instinct next time.

Thanks Fred, I also like the color better. I went to the Ansel Adams exhibit here in Missoula, quite a collection, 138 originals and got inspired to do some B/W, so I have been playing with different techniques.
