I think I would have just spent the nite up on the lighthouse instead of making that climb down in the dark. Did you make any 'wrong turns' on the trail, into dry creek beds?

I don't know if you're interested, but Palo Duro has a Facebook page. They appreciate people loading photos on their page. I've added a few low res shots there. Maybe it'll drum up a little bit more business for them. I do the same for Caprock Canyon too.

I didn't make any wrong turns that I know of, but the last mile back took longer than it should have. I think I may of been on one of those bike trail detours for a little bit.

I'll check out Palo Duros Facebook page.

There were a few night shots I didn't get because I didn't want to trek out there by myself. But that gives me a good reason to go back with someone.
I've posted before about having people join me, but like David said, most people wuss out when they hear how far out we have to go...
What he means is I got stuck at freakin work because someone else didn't do their job... can you tell I'm still not happy about that?

It was only a 10 hour drive... that's no hill for a stepper...

Thanks Russell! No horse flies for me this time around, but it was mighty cold at night!
